Description
The pressure of the liquid lava beneath is pushing and causing the thin crust of lava rocks to crack. And out came a little lava waterfalls. Aloha and thank you for viewing

I love your close-ups!!!!
Wow, your shots are just amazing.
Oooh...now this is what I'd hoped to see last week while at Kilaeuea (man I hope I spelled that right without checking. lol). Got some nice shots, but didn't have the time to hike out to where the lava was flowing. Hopefully some day though. Mahalo. :)
I love these, Eroll, and this is no exception. I wish I could come join you. :-)
This is great !!! must be a very beautiful spectacle ...
A wonderful piece of nature's wonders. How far were you standing?
nikolais....at the most 10 ft away. Aloha
the texture of the lava is amazing!
Looks like a fire god opened a trap door to let some hot lava out to scare and warn those who venture into his realm! Excelent side angle shot!
So nice composition and color in this lava picture!!! Good day :)
Great shot, amazing to look at, as long as you don't step in it.
Impresive pic and lovely colours. Great work
C'est sublime!!!!!!!!!!
This is such a great series. Bravo!
thats really amazing...love these pics
very nice pov. good shot
Nice close up! The little "fault line" is so clear~ =)
Nature constantly at work...great series...
Fascinating shot. Very interesting and impressive. Superbly done!!
OMG! You just said 10 feet a way at most!!! Nice, that mean its not that hot tho.. Means... I will come and give you a visit and will take a dive! :))) Nice shot again my friend, and is it posible to make or take a full wide angle shot of that place! I bet it will rock tho. Have a nice one JOE
Waterfalls it is! Those red/yellow and gray colors/colours really complement each other in all of your lava captures. Superb POV and textures in this capture! Bravissimo!
You closed out your hula series nicely and now I see you are back to the lava. I really like this one for the crack that runs down the middle. I am remind of a scab that has broken open with fresh blood oozing. An apt analogy actually, heheh.
A superb side angle shot Errol, you were up so close. Aloha. Diane.
this is wonderful. bet it was hot
10 ft. away? That means you are walking on that thin crust?
Excellent!
Ionel...In that area where I was standing, the crust was a little older as compared to that one you see being broken by the lava ooze. In other hikes, we have walked over thin crust before but the lava movement wasn't as active like what you see here. Thanks for asking... Aloha
Wow, explosive image, Nice shot!
No No it's not a lava fall ..it's a spiral candy maker L someone is pushing it out on a bed of dark chocolate .... (can you tell i'm hungry, i'm seeing things lol) Great picture though Sharky! L ty for sharing
All I can say is I'm loving your new camera shots!!!!!!!!! Super cool!!!!! Aloha...
