Description
Another Stargate Atlantis magazine illustration. This is the character 'Ronan's gun, modeled from DVD screen grab reference.
Someone noted about composition on previous images, so to clarify - the illustrations are primarily created as cutouts (with no BG) so that the editor can arrange them as desired over BG of their choice! :)
A credit to 'Horseflesh', as I used a source jpg from one of his 'scratch' materials in the guns textures - cheers Ryan!

I know it's from Stargate (yes, I'm a fan) but it looks like something from Bladerunner with a bit of civil war tech thrown in. Superb modeling, and the finish on the metal is perfect!

Fantastic realism; the materials are superbly rendered. The scratches in the metal really add to the weathered look of the metal and the wood grain is awesome. This is a great render; even the screws look good. The piece at the back of the revolver (pink in color), what is it? The material does not seem to fit.
