Description
In the era between the end of the Klingon Wars, and the War against the Tholians (the lost era of Star Trek..;), it was deemed necessary to have 'trainer' starships available to instruct larger numbers of Starfleet Academy (and additional units)cadets in actual experience commanding a ship in space. Simulations are all very well, but there's nothing like the vibration of a deckplate to let you know you're actually there.
The Cadence Class was constructed as a simple but hardy ship, following in the traditions of pilot trainers for centuries. Consisting of a modified sphere, it housed the cadets and trainers during 2-week tours of the Alpha Centauri and Vega systems, doing simulated battles, emergencies, transports, away missions, and whatever was deemed currently necessary by Starfleet Command.
Vickie 3, skin is Darlene (or Daria? I should writ e these things down), Charleston hair (had it, just never used it). Ships by me in Wings, background is Bryce and Mojoworld (that should be heretical enough..;). Have fun

"Ahh yes I rememeber my time on those ships." Captain Ben Sisko
Excellent!
Really a superbly work dear Friend!!!bravissimo!V:DDD.Hugsxx
There is no end to no end. Training is a war with no end. There are no teachers of war. You see, in the old testament there were three masters, soldiers, farmers and teachers. As a master, teacher is exclusive of soldier. Just as farmer is exclusive of teacher. You could simulate it but there is no sustitute for men on the crosses. Philosophy! Baaa-ah!!
Imaginative idea. Handled very well. Almost looks like an authentic screen shot from one of the Star Trek series!
Great image and write up, I like the LCARS styling.
