Description
With this image, I was trying to create a character from completely natural materials...sticks, rocks, etc. Trying to get the feeling of nature and the buffalo gone and lost to us....the sadness of losing one's connection to the earth.
I know he's very strange looking but I find him quite appealing. Hope everyone is well and prospering. The weather is warming here and looking forward to a busy summer ahead :)

Oh, this is so cool!!
Now that's one freaky character there Nancy, what...are you tryin' to scare the kiddies ( or me ) or somethin' ? super organic delight ( almost ent-ish !) from a expert Brycer ! ~Cheers~
Your work in bryce is so fantastic to me as I know very little to do in there as of yet awesome work !!~
Very cool!!!Fantastic and excellent work!!!
Awesome work Nancy, yes Buffalo were such beautiful creatures, an important message to us all. Excellent work!
Nancy,I'd say you've truly outdone yourself but I know without a doubt you will continue to amaze me and leave me in complete and utter awe. Your attention to detail just flaberghasts me. If ever anyone could capture visually the essence and spirit of ones soul you have done that here. The roots look as if they have bead work in them. Wow!! Some of them even look like spirits. And yet in the position you have them in, it reminds me of Stonehenge. I don't find this eerie at all, in fact I feel drawn into it. Thank you Nancy, for sharing your gifts and talents. Hope your holiday is wonderful ~Michelle~ :)
Didn't I see him in the museum? Grin.
"Your art reflects Nature truly here, you may think the face dosent fit but dont worry Nature dosent ask for your aproval she DEMANDS it!" The Goddess smiles up-on your art with joy! THANKYOU!!!...:))
Wonderfully imaginative. The colour scheme and framing, finish this piece off perfectly.
So much amazing detail! Yet, somehow I can almost get a feel of this character's personality. A really neat portrait!
