I love IR photos. Fantastic shot.
awesome! well done in this tone and excellent pic conception! lg. lordlotte
have you modified your camera? this is the strongest infrared effect that my eyes remember! cool
Makes any hot day look kewl. Excellent .. Aloha
It's a wonderful IR photography of this real mystic looking forest or park you have taken here! Fascinating to see that the brightness begins immediately around and after the trees! Is there any post or filter work! Sorry I have no experience what the IR photography is concerned! Anyway the contrast here looks fascinating!!!
Great capture, Excellent photo
Very surreal to me. The stones look as though they are floating through this eerie landscape.
Enchanting image Kort S
*** Thanks for all of the great feedback everyone. With the Wratten 87 filter, the IR effect is especially pronounced and the green vegetation becomes even more ghostly white. ***
For me the contrast is obvious. The bushes feel and look like feathers or snowflakes...so soft, even the grasses. I happen to be a lover of trees, especially in winter. To me that is when the true character of the tree is shown. The tree in the background seems almost to be like a hand making an okay sign...or even like holding up a mirror about to give you a glimpse into another world. This seems to be a place where you can easily get lost in your thoughts. For the sake of sounding stupid, what is IR? I've only gotten more heavily into my camera the past year and half and I'm not familiar with all the terminology. Is this a filter? Or a particular way to take the shot? Did you use B&W film or adjust in a program? Just curious.
WOW! No story about who turned that turtle to stone, or why! It's a fairy tale for sure! BJ
Looks great!!!!A fantastic image!!
It is as though the landscape has been touched by frost. Thank you for sharing. egmont

Mysterious and spooky. Indeed a fantasy land inhabited by all kind of strange creatures. This kind of shot makes me dream ...
This would make an awesome poster! Kudos!!

Sure is somewhere else ! looks like the Winter Queens garden of earthly delights, great IR capture Kort, it really takes me away to a far away land ! ~Cheers~
Fantastic photo. Dream, fairytale, hallucination - whatever one chooses to see it as, this is a spectacular shot...
