Description
This one is to give you a sense of scale. That's me shooting the spot I've uploaded the last two days. Except for the glowing orange lava, this is typical of the terrain we walked across for more than two miles to get here. No wonder I was tired when we got back! :-)
Thanks for looking and any comments.

Ok, so you less than 3 meters away from a hot flowing lava. WoW! Greta shot to see the real size of the field !
Boy, you got more guts than I do. LOL!! Have really enjoyed these pics. Thanks for sharing.
A great shot. Amazing new terrain being created here.
Having you in the picture really gives it perspective!! I'd be tired too from all this uneven terrain! Excellent!!
Your shots of this lava and harsh terrrain is just totally awesome. I'm enjoying every bit of your lava pictures and resting my legs at the same time. I bet your legs was totally sore the next day? Excellent photography my friend. Aloha
Ah...I see what you mean. So I got the long distance night view and you got the up close day view. I wonder if spots this size are bright enough for me to have seen (though from the angle I'm guessing this wouldn't have been one that I did see). Very nice. How long did it take you to hike there and back, and what would you think of doing it at night?
