Description
*New Moon* .. I got a hold of my hiking partner Brave Terry and planned a walk to the lava flow with out any moonlight. Our plan was to navigate our way to the lava flow using the stars, wind and a sense of humor to reach our destination. The walk was very much slower as you couldn't see which dark path to take. Anyway we found our way to this small river of lava. Not a very good shot here and had to make a few adjustments later. We will slowly make our way around the larger river and in between that very top flow. Aloha and thank you for viewing.
ps....They have not found the lost puppy.

LOL...navigating by sense of humor, I like this attitude. You guys raised a bar on bravery to take a walk in high danger lava field, no light at all (I guess only a help of torch thou! Great shot, I like it, this is realy dark and only highlight is a hot red flowing lava.
bet the lava scintests is looking for you two to study the photos you both take. cool looking photos

Brave Souls! Egads! I can imagine you two have quite a bit of adrenlin flowing along with that lava L I'm so sorry the puppy has not been found. sigh Terrific capture ..what you say is not such a good shot IS indeed a wonderful shot to those of us who will never walk that dark path. TY for sharing!
