Description
This is the Mother (or Father, I don't know exactly) for the 3 out of 7 Gooslings on my yestrday posting, in the Hofvijver down town The Hague!!
This Egyption Goos is imetating a Stork, funny if you come from the Hague, because the Stork is the symbol for the Hague. According old tradition, there was always a nest with Storks in the center of the Hofvijver, the last time a Stork was seen on the nest was around first of April somewhere in the early sixties!! ( I don't remember anymore if it was a real one)!!
On the right hand side of the photo "the Lange Vijverberg", with the famous (old) Chestnut Trees
