Description
Here's some Golden-Mantled Racquet-Tailed Parrots-- there's a name for you. They're obviously called racquet-tails because of their unique tail shape. There's actually a racquet-tail hummingbird, too-- and since I had to create the racquet-tail geometry, I guess I have no excuses not to do that hummer. The Golden-Mantled RT Parrot is found in Sulawesi (Indonesia) and is close to threatened due to habitat destruction. They are gregarious, as most parrots are, and when in flock do make quite a bit of racket.
Rendered in Poser 7 with DAZ's Cyclorama, RDNA's jungle plants, and of course, my RT Parrots.
