Description
This one's for you Pete since you liked it so much this afternoon, and told me I should upload it! I know how special Dartmoor is to you.
OK, to all non Brits and the geographicly challanged, Dartmoor is in Devon, SW England. Me and Pete live quite close (Pete lives a couple of miles closer I think)It's a wonderful place to visit, full of mystery and beautiful granite scenery.
I photographed this one a couple of winters ago with a free Ilford Pro B&W film.
No postwork :)

That is one amazingly cool tree! I could play a part in many types of images if it were an actor....fantasy, horror...windblown and battered. What it must have experienced in its time on earth. I love it!

Hey Steve! Thank You for this beautiful dedication, I did'nt know you were going to do that, but i'm sure glad you did lol!. You know how much I love wandering around in the Dartmoor wilderness all times of the year and you have captured the mood in this one so beautifully. Maybe one day we could all go up there on an expedition, plenty of watering holes if you know where to find them, and you do lol!. Cheers mate. Excellent!

A fine capture indeed! You've captured such a terrific mood and atmosphere within the photograph..... The tree, isolated and stands alone in this mysterious place..... I think you've done wonderful work in bringing that quality of mystery and curiosity out for the viewer.
