Description

So, I started messing around with the texture some more (finally). Still lots to do, as ever. This is an image rendered in Poser with the default lights. The center image is the initial render. The image on the left was taken into Photoshop and had auto levels applied only. The image on the right had 4 layers: 1. Base - untouched layer 2. Multiply - Auto Levels layer set to 75% opacity. 3. Screen - Guassian blur 10% set to 50% opacity. 4. Overlay - Manual Level Adjustment set to 65% opacity. I wanted to try and see what normal use of the texture may look like, so I created the images you see. I figured this ran the gamut well enough. We have the one for folks who are purists and don't muck with a Poser render. We have one for the Photoshop newb who thinks auto Levels is all you need to do. Lastly, we have the one for Photoshop pros who aren't afraid to mess around with layers to achieve a desired result. Interestingly enough, the image on the right looks closest to the actual texture map as it was painted in Photoshop. The base render from Poser is a bit darker and duller, which I feel gives a more realistic look since most skin gets duller as we age.

Yes, though not here. He'll either be at Runtime DNA or Daz due to some previous arrangments made. I've only to finish his texture map and a few facial morphs before I can call him done. Finally, something new from me in a store! Yay! (I'm excited).
