Description
This is my first attempt at night sky images, I was annoyed to miss the comet however the eclipse last night was lovely. The clouds cleared just in time, the biggest problem was avoiding falling down the steps in my yard while balancing the tripod!

Dear Gary, Terrific shot of the lunar eclipse!!! We missed it here in Texas - and for once had a decent night for it!! Darn!!! I also missed the comet - it rained the entire month of January - seriously - people were building arks!!!! I had to tilt my head around to get the right perspective. Be careful with the tripod!!!!!!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith

you got it just right. I saw the moon but thought it was tonight lol I even heard it on the radio and some history behind it. But my brian did not put two and two together. lol
