Description

An advert inspired me to do this image as well as one of my favorite artists, Kaes. You can see her gallery here: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/browse.php?user_id=12339 It's not Bryce but I forgive her :) Someday this is the subject that I want to devote my creations to. I have to learn to model first so I guess that's why I haven't. I now own Vue6Infinite and have not even opened it to test render (even at 70% off it wasn't cheap). Maybe I'll do Poser pics in Bryce and landscapes and rooms in VueI. I'm so confused, lol!! Anyhoo, I'd like to thank all the artists whose freebies I used. Tony Lynch chair & table, Creepy broom, chaya basket, Rayvan's world dish, arianod cabinet, fwtempest hurricane lamp, and various others I had no names for.

This is stunning! I never thought you could do this in Bryce. I have Bryce 6, but haven't tried it yet. Now I will!

A cozy little place indeed. Love the textures too. Since I've been doing alot of furniture design lately I've considered branching off into architectural images myself.

It's a good thing to be able to be in a position to be confused. I was confused when I saw your title... Then I noticed the jug in the window... must be some of that sun tea... It must be time.

I will agree with every one else, in that this is a beautifully setup image. I would think that a lot of time and effort went into creating this room. It reminds me of the english farm house kitchen, except for the wall texture, that is more southwest. What-ever it is a well composed image. Habds down, worth a 5+ easily.

I so nearly skipped past this when browsing the gallery. It caught my eye just after clicking a differnt link and had to back track. I love Bryce and know what it can do, but you still surprised me. Excellent work and well worthy the recognition.

This is wonderfull, lovely lighting- especially the way it streams in through the window, the textures are all perfect- the cottage wall is amazing, did you create the mat for it? Good luck with Vue, is there an offer on? Great job Nancy, this one is very special.

Fantastic composition and lighting. Hmmm, it's a pity there wasn't a nice set of lingerie in the table when you thought the image's title! 8-) No characters... so no complaint this time. 8-) To do that modelling you need another program... and I just hope you don't do clothes. 8-)

I love the room ambiance and the little window those houses could only afford to have at that time period due to harsh winters.. beautifully done Nancy

Nancy this is absolutely wonderful. I know this is a country kitchen but it has a european flavor that I just love. When I first veiwed this it reminded me of a watercolor of the hearth where my grandmother was born in France. It have done by my cousin many, many years ago on a plaster board. Initiallty as I said it has the flavor, but I just got up to look at it once again and darn if this isn't a close call. The warm tones, the baskets (hanging on a wall in mine) the foot stool, broom, chairs and even the side board table. This could be the country kitchen anywhere really, France, Italy the US. It has charm, character and is so inviting. The title is perfect as the sun seems to be at 4 o'clock. :) Tea time! I do so love the butter cream color of the plaster walls. The plant and hurricane lamp set it off beautifully. You also show your wonderful taste in color and detail. A great place for conversation. Thank you for sharing! ~Michelle~ :D

The wall mat is mine and took me the longest of everthing in the room except for a wall formation that I took out because the shadows were not good. I fiddled with that forever, lol. I won the 70% off of Vue products and bought the upgrade from Esprit6 to Vue6Infinite. You can not beat that deal. Now I just need to open it and use it, lol.
