Description

I downloaded the SP1 for Poser 7 and needed to check what gives. Sydney occasionally needs assistance from DAZ and this was one of the times. The powerboat is from the Carrara Content CD. Not a RayDream prop in the spline modeller. No problem with the render suddenly disappearing as I was looking at the latest pictures of my grandaughter on my sister's computer. It's a bit large for anything but closeups. So, I made the render a bit bigger. Zoom in and you get the same effect. I want to get better water. At some point you must swim or drown. I'm thinking CAT diesels and my engineer friend's admonition not to use Detroit's as they won't burn the tar sold as fuel in Raratonga, Hong Kong or Port Said. It doesn't have outdrives as built to use 850 hp Chevrolet big blocks.

In the summer months I spend a lot of time at the Hudson Yacht Club which is not very far from where I live. Some of the guys come cruising in with those big cigarette boats. The burble of those big engines as they maneuver these beauties into dock is absolute music to my ears. Awesome boat !

that's not a cigarrette boat, that's a cigar boat..;) sailing the seas of cheese...a lot of complex curves going on here, and the boat is even more challenging..;) great stuff..keep it up.

Dear Dale, The boat is really cool!! I've always though the offshore racer type were really cool!!! Yeah, Cat or Cummings!!! I grew up with a family that hated Detroit's. We were in the road construction business and had a lot of heavy iron - most of it painted Caterpillar yellow!!! The trucks mostly had Cummings. I can well fancy myself sunny away on my fannie tail on the fantail on somthing like this!!! I've got the boat on the list with the airplane!!!!!! A quick update - I passed my checkride on the Citation X!!!! WOO-HOO!!!!!!! But I had a REALLY crummy trip home. I got a ride on a CJ2 to Addison (Dallas) but then couldnt get to San Antonio. My stupid flight manuals were the problem! Southwest wanted a LOT of money to carry them as they were WAY over the baggage allowance!!! I finally got a ride in a Lear back to SA. To find a dead car battery - and then drove 200 miles back to Houston!!! Its been a LONG two days!!!!! Ill be catching up on stuff at Renderosity tonight and tomorrow!!!!!!! Love ya!!! Good posing on Sydney. She looks like she's in paradise, without a care in the world - not even who might be driving the boat, LOL!
