Yikes that is very muddy waters!!!!!!! And so much more water than the last photo you took!! Whew!!!!! It has been raining there!!!! We had snow today, can you believe it??? Yesterday was gorgeous & sunny, go figure... This is a tremendous amount coming over rainbow falls!!!! Nice to have that big zoom eh?????? Love it Errol!!!!! Aloha... ps. I didn't get an ebot for this shot??????
what a difference in the two images great shots, i do prefer the other one, it a bit more cleaner
It's hard to believe they're the same place...the mud does add some extra color and texture to the water.
What a difference. This is great though. The rivers do what they want.
Now that is a water rush! Egads .... sure wouldn't want to be boating in that L I went and saw the peaceful calm of that same falls. WOW nice! Kinda reminds you of a woman eh? L
Wow thats some water, all the mud mixed un. What an awesome shot of such a force of nature.
per pic. wonderful and powerful nature. Just perfect
Oh yes, so beautiful waterfall and excellent pov and composition !!! :)
Impressive shot.
So wonderful waterfalls!!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting shot, usually you picture waterfalls as always being clean and white, so this adds a new perspective....and makes me want to stay clear of falling in the water.
Dear Errol, It's amazing how it can change - and probably in virtually no time!!! This picture I took of Perdenalis Falls in Texas is like that - beautiful clear blue water and then in almost seconds can change into a huge muddy torrent thirty feet deep. http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1340306&member This is really dynamic - while the previous picture shows the beauty of the falls, this one shows its more sinister side!!!!!!!! I hope you were some place safe whne you took this!! Water like that is nothing to mess with!! I almost drown in a flash flood back in college!!!!! Excellent photograph!!!!!! This afternoon is the big moment - going for my checkride in the Citation X!!! Woo-Hoo!!!! (I love the smell of jet fuel!!!!!!!!) Actually, that might be a good time for everyone to take cover while a wacko blond is punching hole in the sky!!! Of course, Ill mostly be around Wichita, Kansas, so most folks are probably pretty safe - and Ill be on the short leash of a flight examiner! However, I did think it was pretty tacky of the insurance folks to cancel the insurance of everyone in Kansas for the duration of my flight!!! ;-) What a bunch of creeps!!!! Ill be back sometime tomorrow - still trying to figure out how Im gonna get back to San Antonio, Texas to pick up my car so I can then drive back to Houston!! Unfortunately I dont get to take the Citation X home as a souvenir!!!!! Darn!!!! (And yes, I did ask!!!!!) ;-) Love ya!!! Meredith
OMG Errol! What a different!! Other one is so calm while this shot is rumbling angrily! Excelent shot!
Great photo!
Wow - quite a difference to "nicer" days! Good one!
Wow! That must have been a helluva rain! Great shot of rain swollen falls!
I love the muddy falls! It really tells you the power of the water and the huge amount that is coming down that river. Wow. Great shot.
Perfect shot! Bravo!*****!
very interesting!
What a difference between the two. Now I can see what you mean about it yawning in the previous shot. Awesome looking power, fantastic capture!!
What a difference between the two images (though the first is a long long way from a yawn!!). Great example of the - sometimes - frightening power of nature.
ooooooooo this is impressive......wow
Awesome capture, muddy or not, Bravo!
A superb capture, Errol. . . The raw power of nature is incredible. Think I would like it best on a quieter day :-) Aloha. Diane.
The mud does make interesting streaks of color in the falls. I think it is a very unique waterfall capture!
What a contrast! Who ticked off Mother nature?
The sound of that water falling must be deafening. Great image showing the true power of nature.
Wow... spectacular ! I can hear the thunder... love it !
looks like coffee.seeing muddy water is part of the Texas landscape. muddy or not the falls are beautiful
quite a difference tween the two! with rainfall like that is it any wonder Hawaii is so lush! just watched a special on 20/20 about that damn that burst, sad...
