Description
A brave crew of privateers, anti-slavers called ther Pragamtic Order of Thought, rammed their Squidship into the side of a Nautiloid battleship, intent on killing the evil mind flayers and freeing any slaves aboard the pirate vessel.
One orc, flung overboard in the collision, clings to a barrel, pondering what to do...now free of the telepathic domination of the mind flayers, he knows if they capture him again he'll be their mind-blastedm, willing stooge, and one day they'll sup on his brains...but if the humans catch him, they may just execute him anyway...so he lies still, hoping to be ignored, but rescued before his air runs out.
ships made by me, people are Poser, planet is me and a plugin having fun
and yes, Spelljammer is weird, you can breathe in space, long as yer air enveleope lasts and gravity is 1g and based off the largest mass nearbye..it's weird, it's fantasy space lol
-based on the Spelljammer setting and ships for Dungeons and Dragons

I used to run my own Spelljammer campaign WAY back when it first came out! I wish I had more people around me that were interested. I'd start a new campaign... :( Oh well, great work! Have you ever considered modelling a Smalljammer or the great Spelljammer herself? Anyways, keep up the great work. I truly love these Spelljammer related images. They bring about a lot of reminiscing...
Very nice. I was actually playing with your models yesterday, thinking about an image...so you may see some other stuff like this soon :)
It lacks only a pair of mindflayers blasting the puny minds of the weaklings who dared to attack them... mwhahaha ;) Very cool battle scene and good job on bringing life to one of the more original (and weird, yes) fantasy settings out there... :D
I like the idea of spacecraft in the design of historical vessels :)
