Description

I would like to let this one speaks for itself. However, due to the nature of the subject involved, I feel I must clarify my position on what I see these days to be too common a practice in our world. The best way to do this is by reminding everyone of the period of our history when Art and Religion were the conflict of the day. This past history no longer affects our daily life up until you realize that it has merely been transformed into another way of looking at it. Today, it can been seen as a confict between Art and the Social Political Ideology of a group of people. It is under this point of view that this project was mainly designed, and that's all! Superb piece! Well stated! Bravo! We have found great freedoms with Art in general, but there will always be limitations placed, and well there should be. I have found myself at both ends. I find some work objectionable, and I have found my work, as well as others I like to be objectionable by others. We all should evaluate the limits set on us as Artists, fight to insure they are valid, except to some degree the limits placed, while looking for total freedom. ;) Art is a mirror of Life. Not all we see in Life is exceptable, and/or something we want to see. Do we really want to see that in Art? But where and who draw the lines? Once it is drawn, is it fair and just? Boundraries will always be tested from both sides!
