Description
More additional pieces im working on. The re-entry shield could store fuel during the outbound leg of mission and would be depleted upon arrival to planet. After reentery in atmosphere the shield would be jettisoned at high altitude and the lander would slow with parachutes and then under rocket power at lower altitude. Disposable shield or possiblities of carrying supplies etc after jettison.. All kinds of potential.
