Description
Made a ring-shaped brush in Photoshop, filled a black page with grey rings and then made that into a Bryce terrain. Nine terrains make up the water. Various 2d trees. Debated on adding the raindrops, so I saved two versions.

Absolutely stunning work!! So realistic. Fantastic~!:):)
oh how gorgeous! brilliant light, and i love the ripples. the raindrops add a lot, imho.
You are truly gifted. It is not often that imagination is complemented by both artistry and technical expertise. Thank you for sharing your talent.
Raindrops on water, this is amazing well done Angela
COOL
Well done. Has a serious sense of time and place to it.
I am speechless Dave, incredible effects/creations. I have been to my mothers pond, just off from her back door deck about 12 feet...to the same view. You amaze and delight, thank you! [=
So sweet, and a perfect place for frogs;-) Those ring heightfields make nifty craters, too, with a touch of "erosion".
What I can't figure out is how one guy can come up with all of these different ways to do stuff. You're amazing, Dave! One fine render.
excelent image well done!!! any change of getting a copy of the ring shaped brush?
amazingly real, sounds simple but I'm sure it took some messing around.
Simplistic beauty...simply beautiful.
