Hi all, to post not only fantasy and horror pieces, I give it a change and upload a portrait this time :-).

Yes, it does look like an oil painting, especially the stripe across his shirt where you even have the tiny bumpy texture that happens when there is a little extra oil in the paint! That is just amazing! Plus it is a very nice portrait, no matter what medium you used;-)

It would be a shame to lose your traditional skills but they do need constant attention. That apart, can you not offer suitable clients the option? This picture is fine with a beautiful use of light and shade etc to concentrate attention, and the composition goes beyond to express that easiness which only loving couples can really have. I would perhaps harden the hair of both a little (slightly greater contrast perhaps?) but its your style, though I feel the softness creeps from your fantasy work (don't know, I haven't looked). It is something to consider - nothing more.

This is superb, you absolutely nailed the paint-on-canvas-look. Not to speak of your amazing painting skills. Top notch work, I'm sure your client will be thrilled with this. My compliments! And I know...paint is unaffordable these days. I'll bet in a year or ten it'll be more valuable than gold.
