I agree that it doesn't look like snow but it's still a brilliant picture anyway. Beautiful colours and rock formations.

Wouldn't the snow get it colour from the sky? If the sky's blue, then the snow would take on a blue tint, too....it's why a polarising filter is useful for snow shots with a film camera, otherwise you get precisely this effect. Or maybe there's some blue dye in the snow..... I'd put some snow-camouflaged ski-troops in there, but that's just me! BTW, I think the details on the smaller formation to the right are what really makes this look good.

...Or may be its not the Earth type planet...and theres too much cobalt in the water particles, etc...:) Just kidding:) Thanks for all your comments,guys. Youre right - its a bit too blue for a snow...but blue is my favorite color, so you know...:)
