Description
I been seeing this tree and photo it many times. I never posted it because I saw things wrong with the photo. So I keep trying and then with the film camera I shoot this and I liked it. I shot this last week end when I shoot the airboads. They are about 3 miles apart.
Hope you all like it.
thanks for comments and all.

been shooting this every time I pasted by for the past 6 months. I do not past often here maybe one time a month. was trying to think of something to show something in life but could not think of any. Lol life goes on.
I not saying film is better. It differ than from my digital camera
It is a wonderous caputure Jock. Superb. I am sorry it is dead :-(((( Find an acorn, plant it at this trees base, please. Keep it in little pot with earth first, to germinate. Oak will grow again. We have to love our trees, hey? Hugs for all your dear family. Diane. I grow little oaks from acorns, plant them in open spaces where they can have good life.
Like it very much. As for being either film ot digital they are different in so many ways.
This looks like a really interesting place. I wonder why the tree died? It must have been such a beautiful big tree. Sad and lonely looking...
that is very pretty tree!!!!!:) 5stars
Great memento for the dead oak!!! Very nice composition, lights!!! Excellent capture!!!
Sure looks like a dead tree, I guess it's now a home for all types of wildlife. ~Cheers~
Ciao!Beautiful and interesting capture!I am sorry of see this tree of oak is dry and dead all! I love a lot the nature and the trees! To see the trees buckets and dead transmits always a feeling of sadness! This shot is excellent! As always you are a very good photographer and a big artist my dearest friend Jock!!thank you for sharing!!I wish you a Happy New Year!!Have a wonderful day!a big kiss and a big hug!!
Nice capture of the dead oak, Jocko. That's life, and now death. Probably use it for firewood or something. The area looks rather feral. I have lots of photos of barren, leafless trees, but that's because they're dormant during the winter, and will blossom out again come this spring.
Wow! Great capture. Whats funny, I was planning to upload a picture of a dead tree close to Estes Park here in Colorado tonight :) But perhaps I'll do something completely different. All the best ***** Kurt
cool old tree even in decay. you done a good job
Looks like snakey territory. Spanish moss is nice.
Really nice composition, looks like that's a really big oak that's still alive right next to it.
I wonder why it died? Old age? Some oak disease? Who knows? Great shot though! (:
Excellent POV,so wonderful render! I really wonder how old was this tree before dying? Thank you for sharing Jocko! Joy...Happiness...Happy New Year! Lior
Gone but not forgotten. Beautiful story of life and death. Great shot on film..
How if the hand of the devil left Ground to beseech the Sky of its Clemency!
Maybe some treasure under the root now ! :)

Awesome capture Jock! Bravo!
Fantastic! Great juxtapositon against the still vibrant tree.

Old Faithful is alive my friend. Go there at nights and you will see. Excellent capture. Aloha
These trees are always so cool to see. Be nice to see some big eagle or owl in this.

Super capture Jock! :)
I have seen trees like this in ancinet splendor in Rembrandt paintings. Well, maybe only one painting among his many paintings.
Excellent history and shot Jock.....!!!
