Description
This build went a little better. Gaining some confidence with the controls. It was rendered at 1024x768. Next, I'll try a large render for more detail.
This mouse navagation for setting a POV is still an issue for me. I use a programmable Kensington trackball and haven't found the setting I'm looking for. Zooming and controlling the camera height are the main problems.

A breathtaking vista- beginning to see the trademark choronr touches.
agree with artgum - wonderful sky in your own special, xlt way
Great clouds!! Looks like a photo.
Your getting it together real fast, Bob! Great depth and wonderful sky, all recognizably yours!
Very nice sky, Bob. I am at once stuck by your (and everyone else's) perseverance with this new TG version. As I'm still waiting for my PC to be repaired so that I might also join in the fun, this period gives me time to observe how the skill level of everyone who is using TG2 are improving day on day. However, having read all the points in the Forum, I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that this programme version has about the same steep learning curve as the now venerable Mojoworld. It may be that I won't bother switching to this new version as I can produce the same fine detail with Mojo... but then again...
Beautiful, realistic landscape with wonderful atmo!!! Great work!!!
XLT render, I like this view!
Wowww, Very beautiful work and excellent composition !!! :)
super POV and image!
very believable atmo and glow, surfaces are nice too. i am keen to see the highres version.
Lighting is fantastic! Agree with setting the camera; Making close up it's quite impossible if you plan to follow the old Terragen 0.x way. Tgd Requires a new way to work IMHO, but this could be also an advantage.
Much better than the first... you learn FAST ! Very beautiful depth, atmo, terrain, etc...
Agree with Hillrunner !!
Excellent clouds Bob. Good depth...
This is very beautiful, especially the sky. I agree with the camera problem. I just don't have the patience for Terragen. 2. Excellent render and great improvement skills, Bob !!!!
Nice one
Superb Sky!
Wonderful work!
For a 2nd render, it's really impressive ! A very good work. I wait for the 3rd... :o)
Try Mojo Bob, I think you'll like it. This looks good, but a far cry from your TG1 work!
nice atmo and clouds,5/5 agree about the camera in tg2
Sounds very challenging Bob! Keep plugging away!
Yet another great image Bob
I love that sky Bob, beautiful softness to it. The distant terrain is shown perfectly in this render. The close terrain one can see some subtle details. Beautiful surfacing (something I've had a big problem with so far) but we will all learn together :)
Beautiful, i love all your terragen-pictures! Stunning again1
Very Depth in this Bob. TG2 is not a user friendly proggie, but you seem to making excellent headway in it!!!!
Superb clouds and lighting!
Your sky is really special, very interesting work!
The final result sure is nice, sorry the controls were tuff to work, but so glad you stuck to it and created this quality ladscape artwork!
Holy Cow, Bob, this is a real beauty! I like everything about it...very realistic! Masterful and shows your great eye for composition. Scary good stuff!
