Wow they sure have put the effort in at that house. lol One idea maybe to try using a tripod next time. If you keep your shutter speed low, and use a tripod, you will get a more focused image and still retain the richness of the lights. A higher shutter speed would help to keep everything focused, but I feel it would diminish the quality of the colors that obviously caught your eye (and mine) in the first place! Just a thought anyway! Nice one.

It's good that the neighbour has turned off his lights. Guess he will have not so much to pay in the end ^^

Dear David, These people realyl went the colorful route!! Very festive!!! I was trying to see from the picture but couldn't really tell - is there snow on the ground?? I figure you have probably had some, but I know that sometimes it doesn't hang around too long. (At least in Chicago - that's as close as I've been!!) Super pretty photo!!! Love, Meredith
