Description
Ever see the movie "LOVE ACTUALLY"? Colin the would be British stud flies to Milwaukee Wisconsin in search of love. And immediately after hearing his British accent, three coeds take him back to their one room, one bed home. The house is covered with lines of electric lights and holiday symbols.
Well, speaking as a Milwaukeean, I can attest that that house was a pretty accurate recreation of a southside home this time of year.
For the next 12 days, I'll share some images of the scenes, dioramas, light displays, or just plain silliness covering houses across the city.
We start with a house just off Layton Avenue and I-94. Not much on lights but this has to be the largest collection of light-up plastic Santa statues I've ever seen in one place.

Dear David, I'm running so far behind again! I've been "LIVING" at the office for most of this month!! Your outdoor Christmas decoration photos are about the only decorations I've seen!!! THANKS SO MUCH!!!!! Got to admit, I don't think I've ever seen that many Santa's before in one spot either!!! Not even at a store selling them!!!! People tend to go "slightly" overboard at Christmas!!!!! ;-) Love ya!!!! Meredith
How do you find these places?!
