Hello all!!
Taken at a local church Christmas play from the first row of the audiance.
They asked me to shoot the play and I was pleased with this one of Mary prayerfully pondering.
I was esp drawn to her beautiful hands in this portrait...
Taken from my one of my favorite Christmas songs ( had the song up in my gallery last year too , but i love it so...)

Taken with my canon xt - in very low light( postwork is minimal - I am really striving for that lately now that I have an SLR ) ...
Have to go now taking the girls to see the new Eragon dragon movie will try to catch up on comments tonight!

What a beautiful capture. This is very contemplative in appearance, demonstrating the appearance of Mary's union with God. With all she would have to endure, she had to be "Full of Grace". Thank you for this awesome image Kimarie.
Excellent capture of the moment, especially in low light. I too am trying to learn with my Canon xt. Still struggling with low light shots. You'll have to give me some help ....

Very beautiful shot, and her hands are so elegant looking! That is one of my favorite Christmas songs, too. I get chills and teary every time I hear it.
