Description
Well, sooner or later I had to post this. It's the reason why I am going to buy a new camera, Nikon D40 I think. I clambered up a mountaintop, got within just a few meters of these, had half a dozen zooming around me at arm's length, and this is all my dear Coolpix 5700 could do. Not a single one of the flying ones, and even those just sitting there are fuzzy. And I'll never get another chance like this! Oh well ...

Hey - at least you got'em. Not a superb image - but sometimes it is better to have a acceptable shot - than come up empty handed. And since it is not your garden variety pigeon, but a magnificent bird, that I doubt many people have seen in nature - it even makes it a good one!
I have never seen these guys in person myself. Not the best, but as mentioned, you did get them. Hope it works out getting a new camera!!
Oh yes, very impressiv birds and excellent composition!!! Good day ;)
