Description

Here is one of my images I took with the 35 file camera. Let me tell you if you get one to try out let some one show you lol. I had two rolls of file that was ruin with out me take one shot with. I had one break inside the camera and I did not know. I thought it was in the roll as I rewinding it. It broke because no one showed me the button under the camera to push to start the rewind lol. So that three rolls ruin. If you mess up do not worry just try again. I did shoot 2 rolls and here is one of the images. I got this off the cd which I bought with the prints. they are about 1536x1024@96 and the file size is 1.25 M. I did this at a colorfast one hour place. the cd costed $5 and if I wish for the super fine images saved to tif it be $25 a cd. lol. I got a lot to learn here

I think you will find a decent digital camera will be far cheaper than developing film and also the cost of buying film. Fuji9000 is one hell of a camera and very economical . beside getting the favorite shots and have some dumb butt loose them or even worse steal them.

haha.... up here in Canada jocko we call that the school of hard knocks! When I had a 35mm I got into the darkroom stuff, only in B&W mind you. From your experimenting with blacklight stuff, I think you'd enjoy the darkroom process, and the funky stuff you can do in there. Nice fall colors jock, keep up the good work!!

Not bad shot you know! I really like a trees at a back, in this color. But I am sure in green would work for me just as much!

I too think digital is the way to go. No more paying the drug store to do what you can do better. Even the potrait studios are using digital.

Great shot, great value ! shame about the trashed rolls though, this capture is kool, but the grass island and background plants and trees seem very brown and dried out, which is strange for al the water around this place ? is there a drought there as well as here in Australia ? ~Cheers~ :o)

The birds don't mind. Keep filming. The sense of sanctuary is not lost even when material cost intrudes.

Just like a man to force it, lol :) No instructions with it either? My hubby did the same exact thing but he didn't bother to read the instructions. I say stick with digital. It's so much easier and they take just as nice pics. This is a beautiful pic Jocko. The colors of fall and the flying ducks are a wonderful reminder that winter is upon us.

Jocko, you gotta read the manual before messing with the camera! Or is it second hand and didn't come with a manual? I believe the normal method of operations in rewinding film in a 35mm camera is to press the little button for a free flowing rewind. Anyway, nice wide capture of the ducks having a grand old time cavorting about the river. I like the strata effect of the river.
