Autumn Reflections
Taken on a pleasant stroll around Tarn Hows in the lake District - UK.
Like much of the Lake District this tarn ( the word tarn meaning lake ) never looks the same on a different visit with the light and shade changing almost hourly.
There is a lovely walk around the whole tarn of about 1 1/2 miles.
An interesting point is that it was once owned by Mrs William Heelis, far better known to the world over as Beatrix Potter.
