Description
We've been looking at the outsides of steam engines; time to get on the footplate and see something of what it took to get moving.
MSTS fans, as well as live steamers, will probably be able to pick out some of the controls. Let's see... We have an industrial age mouse as well as a whole lot of analog data flow controls....
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.

comparing modern to the old, gives appreciation to what the engineers had to go through with the terrible heat

wowww, a lot of details in this post, excellent!!! Good day ;)
looks like alot of bells and whistles there!
Other day there was a special on History Channel. This very engine was used to demonstrate some point about early railroads... Museum guide went over some of the controls and yanked a few things to demonstrate settings, etc.
