Description

A few months ago i saw a program on the History Channel about the history of the Taj Mahal, in India. I've always loved looking at that incredible structure. In the program, they talked about the belief, by some, that Shah Jahan planned to construct a matching Taj Mahal, across the river, out of black marble. The shah was deposed by his son before it ever got built. It's a very sad story, if you read up on it. They uncovered a foundation and pool area where it would have been. Others believe it was just a garden. One man had the theory that a reflection pool was meant to reflect the White Taj across the river and filled a huge plastic-lined pool to demonstrate and it worked. So... I descided to try it in Bryce. I was 3/4 of the way through modeling the Taj Mahal, when I found Daz had a model. Got if for free with all of the bonuses going on. Rebuilt my model into the orange out buildings and started playing with the water mat, refraction and sun angle. Couldn't get the reflection to be dark enough, so I resorted to wizardry and made it a magic pool with the Black Taj mysteriously appearing in the reflection of the White Taj.
