Description
My Friday macro got a great response, thanks. Here is a more pulled back image of the butty, and a photo of it in its chrysalis. Have a wonderful Sunday evening. ----- Thanks for stopping by and for your orbital comments on my last photo, Harvest Moon 2006.

Youve tamed him well;) Very nice macro work. The chrysalis is refreshing if that makes sense:)
stunning butterfly and macros
Geez, are you lucky to live in the tropical wilds where you can obtain these magnificent macros. What a fabulous shot of this delicate creature, squatting fearlessly on a human finger. Great antenna on the little guy. The wings remind me of the lettuce in my refrigerator, after a couple of weeks or so. Beautiful chrysalis; reminds me of the pods in the movie(s), INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS.
Beautiful butterfly. The macros are marvelous..... :)
far out ; this is super for a closeup
