Just to show you, that the nature show its face everywhere. Look at this little wonder. Just before I throw it into the fireplace. I nearly couldnt make myself to do it. :)))

all the way back in 2006 you were shooting mushrooms! (Can you believe I just said "all the way back in 2006"! Was it 100 years ago? Where's my head at!) Well anyway, I'm still reeling from your recent 'shroom series, so it's fun to find this in 2006...It looks like this is photographed on some kind of rough surface (fabric?); in fact it almost looks like the shroom is shedding! It's the kind of shot most people would never think of, and somehow very 'you'! And it's such a great shape...so did you throw it in the fireplace? I guess you never know with mushrooms, they could be poison. But this is an amazing looking plant. And if you'd posted it today, you'd have gotten 2 pages of comments!
I decided to travel back in time--well, to travel back in your gallery at least! I'm glad that I did it. This is such a marvelous picture and it's full of personality and life. I like what Mark said; this does look like a shroom shedding...hmmm...shedding shrooms, there's a story if ever there was one! I really like this and I'm glad it's a part of your extensive and fantastic gallery! Nice!
