Description
The Old Pack Horse Bridge
Haven't posted for a while,been a busy boy.
The image is of an old pack horse bridge in the area of Wycoller - Lancashire - UK showing the first shades of Autumn with some trees beginning to turn to autumn gold and shed a few leaves
The ruin in the background is Wycoller Hall. Allegedly haunted by a lady on horse back.
Charlotte Bronte was a frequent visitor to Wycoller village on her walks across the moors and it is said the hall is "Ferndean Manor" in her famous novel "Jayne Ayre"
