Description
The sun never set on the British Empire. The drone of a plane intrudes into the sound of muted waves and of wind blowing across water and sand. Europeans have dominated the area for over 200 years, yet the Baglah still plies the commerce routes of centuries. Plane and tramp freighter seem out of place, the baglah belongs.
I'm dedicating this picture to all the hard-working Islamic citizens of the world who believe that the Koran teaches peace and moderation in all things, not injustice and terror.
I pray that someday, all peoples of the world will come to acknowledge what scientist already know, which is that we are all brothers and sisters--or at the very least, cousins. If we hurt each other, we hurt ourselves.
Peace!
Jeremy
