Are those dead trees from all the water? What a cool pic! I grew up thinking that Texas was all desert but I now know that's not true!
Try living in Colorado where we've had drought and water restrictions for the past 4 years or so. It's to the point where water is as expensive as gas and electricity! I love this image and thanks for sharing it with us! I certainly will pray for rain for all of us in the western U.S..
Still doesn't look parched - but if this is usually covered with water, you're in desperate need of some all the same....
So nice and peaceful. Excellent. :)
Wonderfull piece...Hope it rains soon.
great shot Richard Like the electric mast,s in the background gives it a special perspective feel But as you need some water we have here enough in the Dutch LOL
it looks beautiful with all the green Richard but I can see your problem,we have the most wonderful Indian-Summer here, perfect Temp. and not much rain either, its an excellent shot my friend*************
Richard, Honey, You have to bang the drum loudly and dance, yes dance! Didn't you see the movie or hear the song? Now, just hustle on out there and get the feet moving to the rhythm. Guess if we were nice people, we could help out, but my whole yard is soggy enough and my neighbors have complained about the loud noise and my jumping around the yard. LOL!!! HUGS!!!
Hey! I heard everything is bigger in texas where's the big rain ?? lol great photo, and alittle sad:
wow that is realy dry!
Superb!!
Fascinating landscape! Too much rain is also not good! Fabulous shot!!!
This is a lovely shot, Richard. Sorry for no rain for you as yet!! I know you need it bad. Will wish for gentle rain for Texas and my very kind Sir. Hugs, hope you finished that job, it was too hard... Di.
Water may be missing... but it makes for a stunning photo! :)
Awww...this is sad. Hope you get some rain soon...but not too much!
The stark silhouettes make an interesting display. I trust your rains come soon.
I'm a little bit further south and we have had plenty of rain. Good photo ;-)

Wow Richard, let's hope some rain comes your way then.... Great shot...
