Description
This is just a fantasy portrait. Perhaps I was thinking of my sick brother, even though he doesnt looke like him :)
I used watercolor pencils. A wonderfull toy to play with. :)))

No, Emailandthings. This is real... on paper, but I did try to make a paiting look out of one of my photos. I work with Paint Shop Pro 9. I can upload it tomorrow.

Not many people could layer yellow/peach(pink?)/burnt siena/black and brown and get a clean look (it generally comes out muddy) you've done a wonderful job here. I would suggest using a photo-reference for the eyes though, they don't look as modeled as they could, the nose on the other hand is perfect.
If I understand you right, you suggest a little light... or som shine in his eyes. OOOHH!!! Il try do to that tomorrow :)), but it is difficult bacause these color pencils have a white you nearly cant se, so I must think something out. Should have left a little colorless spot, but...... :)
