Description
Same car, same location, same time of night, same lighting, same storm.
I tried to get some pics of my patrol car during a thunderstorm that came through. Unfortunately, the storm wasn't cooperating with my efforts.

The owner of a Dragnet Ford did me some harm but later I found that police in fords did not bother me. (It was the Plymouths, but they are gone now.) The appearance of the Chevrolet Caprice in 1988 gave me the hope that they might actually be on my side. That was slowly bled dry but since by then I no longer drove a car it was moot. Then came the Crown Victoria and Malice Green. Somehow when the sargeat showed up in a Ford to a scene begun by a undercover older Plymouth the death occured. Was this causal? I don't think so now. The implied arrival of a death warrant though did lead to an initiative to institute the death penalty in Michigan, the only state without one. What I noticed aboutt he Crown Vic as a design is there is no lead in the seams. Look at the one where the top comes down behind the doors for a rather open seam. Hmmm... Canadian 50% parts but is that US or Canadien practice? The storm was in the desert. The shield is in the box.
I think the angle and background works well, If i took this pic, I would have ditched the flash, and used a longer shutter speed, that way you get a better and more eaven light on the car. and also as a bonus, if you have lightning in the background, you may actully caght the lightning.
I love the top shot. Nice to see such a proud police officer - we don't have many of those here...
Beautiful shots, beautiful skies.. I too prefer the top shot ;-) Thank you for being such a kind friend to Jocko.. Have a happy day and hugs. Di.
love those clouds there. Look like a bad storm came thought
