Description
Took an aerial photo into the terrain lab and made 6 copies of the terrain. Used the photo for the map and made 6 copies of that too. Altered the colors of each map, using a Photoshop plugin called Photo-Optics by Cytopia, within Bryce's Picture Room. Then, with each terrain, I erased what didn't want and let the lower terrain show through and ended up with this neat mess.
The circle (field?)in the lower right is a little more than a half mile wide.

Ha! What a grand idea! Very interesting compo!
Thats a helluva relief map of the middle of somewhere. &
WOW LOVE THIS KINDA WORK THOUSAND OF DETAILS :)
Cool idea, which window did you peer out of to find this view? LOL
always love a good color topo map! Watch out, what you're doing might actually turn out to be useful ... then you'll be a big billionaire map magnate and too important to have fun - like this.
You're creativity is just amazing--not just the compositions but the techniques you use to create them. I always come away from your stuff a bit dazzled. (In a good way. grin.)
Nicely detailed(really very).Interesting & very colorful. Would love to know where this existed. Resembles my mind.(lol) Thank you.
Oh, what a relief.
I love maps; maps have strange powers over the terrain they describe. That's one heck of a crop circle...
Very neat mess! Clever use of many different approaches Dave! [=
I think,Dot...that you live in the middle of that circle and were "deposited" there for a reason..perhaps to jump-start human creativity...shhh...just a theory of mine!
Interesting technique, like the result!
Cool work.
