Description
Of course I took some time to get away from all that glitters in Vegas..This was taken near the entrance to Red Rocks Canyon, just outside of the city.
I went looking for Wild burro's and horses..Didn't see any..Did spot a roadrunner tho...He was way too quick to capture..

Really good depth, nice view. sorry bout that RoadRunner ;-)
on a trip from Vegas to Death Valley and on my way back going to Scotty's castle I seen a sign warning for wild horses and I thought to myself, I could not be lucky to see them. I caught something in the corner of my eye and low and behold here came a stallion and 7-8 mares. I was trying so hard to take a picture I did not noticed I had it set wrong and all was out of focus.man, I was perturbed! this is an excellent capture of the entrance. I love Red Rock Canyon but Valley of Fire is far better
Great DOF and color here. I've seen this type of landscape before and you did a great job of capturing it.
wow Bruce...what a place.....gorgeous...love the blue sky..well seen
There actually are such things as roadrunners? Hmmm....i better google some to see if youre pulling my leg or not. LOL. Beautiful composition with most of the space being the ground. It really draws you into the mountains. Love the sky as well. Have a great one! #:o)
