Ultrafractal 3.02 I thought I'd show y'all this original version of my "Fuji-san" piece. I worked for a long time on it and, at the end, opted to re-do the backdrop (like this - http://excalibur.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1148480 ) but the longer I looked at this one - painted on a crinkled piece of rice paper - I got to thinking maybe it's worth showing to someone anyhow? I re-rendered the bamboo with shading changes that happened on the "finished version" at the link above but - doh! - I just noticed that the clouds stop at the bamboo. Aaargh - fractal, ALWAYS something! lol I'll go into the finished file and snag the "improved' clouds and put them in. Sigh...you're never "done", ya know? Had trouble figuring out a different name. I went to Babelfish for a translation but it gave me kanji - ratz! - so maybe not such a creative title.... Thanks for stopping by for a peek at this, sorta, "pre-run".
