It's been so long since I posted a collage of the swamp (remember "Pools & Streams"?) so I thought it'd be nice to do another one. The first picture is of a tiny blue dragonfly on a reed sticking up out of the pond. The second is of some swamp grass, and also I thought the sunlight patterns on the water looked cool. The third is of one of my all-time favourite subjects, a frog, floating calmly in the water underneath a dried-up branch. The fourth shot is just of some interesting shadows playing across a pair of mushrooms (big thanks to mom for suggesting that shot). Sorry for the glare on the smaller 'shroom, I couldn't seem to avoid it. That last shot is of a beautiful red dragonfly lighting on my hand -- I posted a similar pic of one lighting on mom's hand awhile ago. As you can see, I have little tiny girl hands. All I want for christmas is some long, mature fingers. Thanks for stopping by, see you all tomorrow!
