Fantastic image! Great color, great lighting, great story behind the photo. Really love it!
I like this - fabulous colour and compo. Reminds me of living in farming places instead of here in the city.
Boy does this picture take me back several years. I was born and raised on a ND farm and spent 35 of my years toiling in the soil. Your statement of 'having to take advantage of the weather' has all too much meaning to me when I think of all the times a good crop was laying out there only to become the pawn of the 'elements'. I can remember many times thanking God immensely when the final field was finised and all the grain was safely in the bin. Thanks for the memories. Great picture!
A fantastic composition and mood. A capture which I can appreciate too, as I stay in an agricultural region too.
Indiana, and the rest of my family continue the tradition... A great shot that captures the essence of the work.
Excellent colour and composition. Wonderful image:)

I may be wrong but before the depression it was decided to engage daylight saving time to enable more time for harvesting crops and such to gain maximum productivity , great image.
