Description
AlooooHa~
Howsit everyone...been shooting many experimental things lately, nothing really to post here. Just having some fun lately trying different shots...Finding out I have zero artistic talent in many areas...but you gotta try to soothe the inner beast.
Made another sunrise trip to Kaimu beach and actually stood about 15 ft. from this wave to get this shot. Probably more guts then brains here as a bigger wave would have taken me out to sea, camera and all. But I just wanted to see what I could get...here is the results of a wave breaking on shore back-lit by the morning sunrise.
Probably not the smartest shot, but all's well....this time.
Much Mahalo's for stopping by and having a look, and now once again time to catch up on a crap load of ebots....it's all good tho-, I love seeing what you guys have to offer....Aloha to All and make the best of the week~

Oh thats such an awesome photo, what a catch.
Awesome shot Dave. I love it. It is soooo Hawaii. Aloha
It does seem rather unusual to see this color in the wave instead of the blues??? But I understand the powerful sun just took over here!!!Amazing catch!!!!! and be careful not to get swept away in these huge waves...I tell you, between you & Errol, you've got us all on an amazing adventure watch!!!!!! Very cool image!!!!! Aloha my friend!!!!
This is absolutely stunning!
many experimental stuff is good. I been doing that all my life and now I know I the king of junk lol. But this is a very good shot. But I worry about you here you are a little wory about water when you walk on lava that might break under you and take you to the lava Oueen??? oh yes love the sun shine thought the wave too
Very cool to see the different effects of your experiment... I like the faces and figures in your wave. Excellent job. Aloha
As long as you weren't swept out to sea I suppose it wasn't stupid eiter:) since the resulting picture is gorgeous!
Yep shoot and run. It's fun to do something different now and then.
Fantastic photo
Dave that is a brilliant shot. Did you get wet?Love how the sunlight hits the top of the waves:)
I totally love the colors in this.Gorgeous capture,Dave.Glad you took it but even happier you didn't get swept out to sea or get caught in an undertow. That happened to me once,in Hawaii as a matter of fact, and it was quite scary. You spin and spin and can't stand up for beans!Once again, beautiful shot.Mahalo and have a fabulous week.-M :^)
