Description
Nikon 7900 image.
I am still having continued success with capturing Dragonflys but some of the shots have been more successfull than others.
I recently posted a pic of the first time a friendly Dragonfly landed on one of my hands while I had my camera in the other hand, lol. I figured it was probably the only time I would be able to capture such an occurance but lo and behold, I have found a 2nd friendly Dragonfly. This one is a different species than the first so now I am looking forward to adding a 3rd and 4th species to the list. I am a greedy man I guess, lol.
I hope you enjoy the pic.

impressive macro and beautiful dragonfly
You have done a great job of bringing out the color in this bug. Nicely clear and detailed, right down to the hair on your hand. :-) Nice capture.
Amazing photo! This is such a beautiful little creature... incredible colors! I've never seen one like it. How you captured him so perfectly crisp and clear, I have no idea but it's an Excellent picture!! :-)
I am constantly stunned at the amazingly beautiful dragonflies I see uploaded here...Tremendous shot!
I cant even get nearer one than 3 meters before it takes off....and you have them landing on your hand? SHOWOFF!!! LOL. Beautiful macro and taken with one hand i presume....impressive. #:O)
really a delightful image!!Bravo!:DDD.Hugsxx
Yesterday I did my first tries with dragonflies and the 7900. Wasnt so easy! ;) This pic makes me keep on working on it! Excellent shot!
I guess the dragonflies have decided you are OK after all! Very neat image.
Great clean photo. Its easier to shoot when you can balance the camera on your arm/hand. Subject and camera remain fixed and you can move about for lighting/background. If the lil critter stays put ;-) thanx
super work!!! excellently done!!! :)
Beautifully captured! I absolutely love dragonflies. We did a sort of experiment in the city I live in last year to use them for mosquito control. :)
Great capture Love that blue Susan~
