Description
Something a bit different for me. Had the sky and terrains worked out several years ago but couldn't quite figure out what to do with it. About nine months ago, I created the hut in Bryce 5.5 for a completely different picture and a few months later added it to the picture. Still felt like it needed something. Tonight, added the old Chevy pickup from Archidom.net and four P4 and P5 figures that I created years ago, but still find useful on occaison. For me, it has an oppressiveness about it, as if the sun is about to go supernova, but my wife thought it was more like the last glorious sunset of a wonderful vacation. I'll let you choose which it is.
Thanks for looking. Comments are always apprecited.

Do not seek the treasure.
Intense - have to agree with you on the oppressiveness of this. It may be the end of the world, but what a beautiful way to go! Love the figures near the house. Well done!
Definitely supernova. Great work.
Reminisicent of the several doomsday scenarios presented on TV lately. This appars to be similar to the burning sky from mega volcanic eruptions. Be nice to cockroaches. they could be our new landlords ...
Definitely a sensation of HOT. How about the last day of vacation and then the sun goes supernova after you get back to work
The mist effect is amazing, as are the warm colors
Very simple and yet so beautiful, you say it took you a few years to finish this piece, it will take a few more to get to this stage in earth, meanwhile let's just say it is a beautiful sunset.
Awesome....definitely the end!!!
Very cool... err, I mean hot... in an apocalyptic way! Terrific compo and color! FIVE STARS
