Thank you bkhook, I think that if I can perfect this, I can get some pretty good pieces together. And thank you, yesitis3, the technique is in Poser 6, it has to do with ground shadows and the background image. I used a combination of IBL OA lights and added blurred shadows. It's far from perfect, but it is close to what I'm looking to do.

You've done a terrific job again of putting figures on to a background. The path looks modern (obviously, because it is) and I am trying to think of a way to change that, while retaining the general ambience of the picture, because the blend is excellent and I wouldn't want to disrupt that. If the horse's mane can be manipulated, it should, perhaps, display more movement, to reflect the fact that the horse is moving fast. Horses have better ears than we do, too, so you might consider having the horse respond to the man's voice, as well as the rider. One other thing: there's no obvious reason for the man to be running along the path, rather than taking a short-cut across the grass. Just a few little ideas; I hope they help.

Well done - you have done a fantastic job of putting the figures onto your background. My first thought was the castle is a little too bright it captured my attention before I find the little people ;) Or maybe the people are too dark IMHO
