Without Mom, I'd never have gotten this shot. We were walking back from the swamp and a big red dragonfly started checking us out, cuz you know, we were in his territory. She held out her hand and he perched on it long enough for me to get this gorgeous macro. Looking at this makes me appreciate how much Stef helps me with my photography -- she understands the camera better (in other words she actually read the manual) and is constantly going along with me and pointing out good shots. She's taken more than a few photos herself and some of them are really good. For awhile I was trying to persuade her to get an account here, but she said she just took pictures for herself and didn't see the need. She did agree to let me put some of her photos on my website once I get it renovated (if you've been there you know it looks godawful). When I do get it done, I'll post a link to her stuff so you guys can see.
