I don't know if you can tell from the shot, but this dragonfly is fucking HUGE. I've seen him (her?) hunting by skimming the surface of the water in both the pond and the road puddles next to it and he looks like a damn bird when he does it. I was lucky enough to fire this one off when he lit on a branch above my head. Mom reckons his wing span at about six inches. I've taken to calling him "Helicopter" for obvious reasons. Have a nice day. EDIT: Took out a use of the word "bitch" I'm not comfortable with (I know it's sexist in general, but sometimes I'm okay with it and sometimes I'm not). This was actually the "prison" use of the word so it also qualified as making light of a shitty situation, and the grammar was fucked up in a way that looked racist (to me) in context. So yeah, took all that out. Sorry about being such a dick.
