Description

This is a visual representation of table salt (NaCl) dissolving in water (H2O). The clear ones are water molecules, the golden are Sodium and the blue are Chloride. For the chemistry geeks out there, the Cl orbs are actually double the size of the Na but the distance from the camera might make it look the other way around. For those who don't care, just enjoy and sorry for the boring chemistry lesson. Thank you very much.

Nicely done. Not a science freak but interesting nonetheless. Just a question. Why salt? What do other substances look like or are they pretty much the same?

Hello Aliensprog, I used salt because it's simple just two ions, therefore just two orbs, but as for how things actually look like, I don't thing any one really knows for sure, matter of fact the solid ball representation is scientifically wrong. Love your work by the way ;) You too GraceFull. Thank you guys.
